Pass the Money Along
Poor people need money and some people aren’t willing to give. How do you feel about the situation of poor people? Would YOU lend money to the people who need it the most? I’m on my way to visit my grandpa. I’m excited! Actually, more than excited, more like ecstatic. I’ve never really been to my grandpa’s house much, just because of the fact that he doesn’t live so close to me but I've finally had time to see him since I was on Christmas break. On my way to his house, my Mom had stopped at a red light. Me, who were sitting in the back seat, was looking out the window and had seen someone but not just any someone, this person stood out. This person was different. What we considered a home; he considered a box. What we known as a bathroom, he known as the floor and a couple of leafs. We have clothes, he had anything that just kept him warm. It was a different sight to my eyes. I’ve noticed that he had a strategy, a strategy to go to the nicest car he saw so they could give him some change. But what I’ve also noticed is that these wealthy people would always turn him down. If only he asked me for some change, I have a quarter in my pocket that i was going to save for a piece of candy or two but this person needed it way more than I did.
Imagine you being someone who couldn’t afford anything, no clothes, no food, no house. Wouldn’t want that now, would you? Be thoughtful for the position that these people are in. They really need the money and I’m sure you have plenty of that to give.
Let me begin by saying, what if one of these miserable people were you? How would you feel if no one gave you not even a dime out of their money? All of you wealthy people should consider giving these people some change. Not forcing, not telling, but just think about how they may feel that no one wants to help them. Sure, they’ve obviously did something that put their life in life or death situation but everyone deserves a second chance.
